Product Description

Levodopa / Carbidopa is an antiparkinson combination used for the symptomatic treatment of Parkinson’s disease and parkinsonian syndromes. Levodopa acts as a dopamine precursor, while carbidopa reduces the peripheral conversion of levodopa, helping increase its availability to the central nervous system. The portfolio includes sustained-release tablets in 25 mg / 100 mg and 50 mg / 200 mg strengths, available in packs of 30 and 100 tablets. The sustained-release formulation is designed to provide a more prolonged delivery of levodopa/carbidopa and supports individualized dose adjustment and maintenance therapy according to patient needs and local prescribing information.
