Product Description

Teriflunomide is an immunomodulatory agent used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). It selectively and reversibly inhibits dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH), an enzyme involved in de novo pyrimidine synthesis, thereby reducing the proliferation of activated lymphocytes involved in the inflammatory processes associated with MS. The product is available as 14 mg film-coated tablets in packs of 28 tablets, providing an oral treatment option for the long-term management of multiple sclerosis according to local prescribing information.
