EASYAL is an injectable product consisting of a highly purified sodium salt buffer solution of hyaluronic acid with marked viscoelastic properties, with a molecular weight between 1,000 and 1,500 KDalton. It is available in two versions: 40 mg/ 2 ml (2%) and 80 mg/ 4 ml (2%). Sodium hyaluronate is a fundamental component of the synovial fluid, to which it gives the characteristic viscoelasticity properties. EASYAL sodium hyaluronate is obtained by fermentation without chemical treatments. It comes in the form of disposable glass syringes pre-filled with a sterile, pyrogen-free solution. In rheumatic and degenerative joint diseases there is a decrease in hyaluronic acid with a consequent reduction in the viscosity of the synovial fluid. This leads to deterioration of joint function and the appearance of pain.
