EDEDAY – EDENIGHT: HYPERTONIC 0.4% HYALURONIC ACID (OPHTHALMOLOGY - CORNEAL EDEMA)
Product Description

Ededay and Edenight are hypertonic products containing sodium hyaluronate 0.4% and hypertonic agents, indicated for the temporary relief of the symptoms of corneal edema. Ededay eye drops also contains sorbitol (13,5%) and can be used during the day.          Edenight ointment contains sodium chloride (4.5%) and is suitable for a night application. The application results into an increased saline concentration of tear film and consequently a recall of water from the corneal layers towards the surface.  Sodium hyaluronate provides protection and hydration and makes the application of hypertonic ointment more comfortable. Ededay and Edenight can help to accelerate postoperative recovery, with a reduction in corneal edema and an improvement in visual function.
