Product Description

Levofloxacin-Dexamethasone eye drops solution is the first combination approved for the management of patients undergoing cataract surgery able to prevent infection and ensure complete control of inflammation with one week treatment. Levofloxacin-Dexamethasone combines the power of the most active steroid (Dexamethasone 0,1%) and Levofloxacin 0,5%, a fluoroquinolone with a broad spectrum of action and activity on bacteria (Gram+ and Gram-) most frequently implicated in ocular infections. Levofloxacin-Dexamethasone indication is based on published Leader7 clinical study: an International, multicenter, randomized, blinded-assessor, parallel-group clinical study performed on more than 800 patients.

    A pharmacovigilance study published confirms the safety of fixed-dose eye drops for post-cataract surgery 17 Jul, 2025A recently published five-year pharmacovigilance study confirms the excellent safety profile of a fixed-dose combination eye drop containing an anti-inflammatory steroid and a quinolone antibiotic, developed by NTC, indicated for the prevention and treatment of inflammation and prevention of infection following cataract surgery in adults.
