This EV71 vaccine is produced by inoculating Vero cells with the EV71 AHFY087VP5 strain, followed by cell culture, virus harvest, concentration, purification, inactivation, and aluminum hydroxide adsorption. It contains no antibiotics or preservatives, ensuring high purity and strong antigen activity. It is the only EV71 vaccine labeled for anterolateral thigh injection (in addition to the deltoid), making it more suitable for young children. It can be co‑administered with hepatitis B, meningococcal A, Japanese encephalitis, measles‑rubella, and influenza vaccines, enabling flexible scheduling and early protection.
