Product Description

Gabapral® is a probiotic food supplement specifically developed for children with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Recurrent Abdominal Pain (RAP), helping improve abdominal pain, bowel habits and overall IBS-related symptoms.

It contains Bifidobacterium adolescentis PRL2019, a highly characterized probiotic strain able to produce gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the gut. Through this distinctive mechanism, PRL2019 helps modulate visceral hypersensitivity along the brain–gut axis.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in children with IBS, Gabapral® significantly improved overall IBS symptoms, reducing abdominal pain intensity by 53% and frequency by 54%, while also improving quality of life. Each stick pack provides 20 billion live cells of PRL2019.
