Flexible IV bags and sets offer clear advantages over glass and rigid containers in safety, logistics and usability. Meditalia Industriale’s Solutran® and Solutran® Plus ranges provide medical‑grade PVC films, layflat tubes, tubes and granules for primary packaging of infusion, irrigation and pharmacological solutions.

Solutran® Plus is designed for IV bags and tubing where high transparency, chemical stability and biocompatibility are critical, even after repeated steam, ETO or gamma sterilisation. IV administration sets use Solutran® DOP Free and Solutran® Plus tubing for their superior clarity and non‑kinking behaviour. All compositions are tested according to ISO 10993 and fulfil the requirements of relevant pharmacopoeias.
