The one is volatile and completely dissolves in water. The most basic and the smallest ketone is acetone (C=O). Acetone has a chemical formula consisting of carbon atoms that is C2H3O2. It is composed of three carbon elements, 6 hydrogen elements and one oxygen element. It is also referred to as 2-propanone, dimethyl ketone. Acetone HPLC grade is suitable in numerous applications in the analysis of most industries and research areas.
