Acetonitrile Bio grade is a clear colorless organic compound of high polar and volatile nature. The compound is called a nitrile, which is the derivation of hydrogen cyanide with the replacement of the hydrogen atom (H) with a methyl group (-CH3). It is also known as Cyanomethane or Methane carbonitrile. The chemical equation of Acetonitrile is C2H3N. It has a characteristic aromatic smell and a flash point of 42° F. Acetonitrile has a sweetish burning flavor and is highly soluble in water and other polar solvents and is a useful polar aprotic solvent. It is used as a solvent in a number of industrial uses.
