Labrasol® ALF (caprylocaproyl Polyoxyl-8 glycérides) is a nonionic water-dispersible surfactant for lipid-based formulations to solubilize and increase oral bioavailability of poorly water-soluble APIs. Self-emulsifies in aqueous media forming a fine dispersion, i.e., microemulsion (SMEDDS).

Lauroglycol™ 90 (propylene glycol monolaurate) is a nonionic water-insoluble surfactant used as cosurfactant in oral lipid-based formulation SEDDS and SMEDDS. Cosurfactant and solubilizer in topical dosage forms.

Lauroglycol™ FCC is a nonionic water-insoluble surfactant used as cosurfactant in oral lipid-based formulation SEDDS and SMEDDS. Cosurfactant and solubilizer in topical dosage forms associated with skin penetration enhancement.

Monosteol™ is a lipidic vehicle used as consistency agent in topical formulations. Enhances stability by preventing phase separation and oil droplet coalescence.

Our lipid excipients are manufactured using vegetable oils (including corn, apricot kernel or coconut oil), a wide array of plant-derived fatty acids, and alcohols such as polyglycerol, fatty alcohols, polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol.

Depending on the raw materials used, the esterification reaction leads to solid, semi-solid, or liquid excipients. The fatty acid chain length, the composition in terms of mono-, di- and triglycerides and alcohol-esters impact the end-product physico-chemical and functional properties.
