Product Description

Applications & advantages: Pastilles or gummies are manufactured based on gelling agents combined with sugars or sugar substitutes. Liquid syrup is deposited into previously formed starch moulds and will then obtain the final consistency in a drying step. After the separation from the starch the pastilles or gummies are either coated with glazing agents or sugar. This solid dosage form can be used for many different indications from pharmaceuticals for the treatment of the oral cavity, medical devices with herbal extracts to food supplements with vitamins and minerals.
