ProGsterol is a peptide-based nutraceutical developed by Caregen for metabolic disorders, including insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and MASLD. Its active ingredient, Deglusterol, is a proprietary peptide complex derived from Deobetide and Adiporin, designed to improve insulin sensitivity and regulate glucose metabolism. Formulated as a once-daily oral supplement, ProGsterol supports glucose regulation, lipid metabolism, and body composition. In March 2022, Deglusterol completed the U.S. FDA New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notification, becoming the first synthetic peptide approved under this designation.
