Gasporox is located in Lund in Sweden where we develop and manufacture laser based sensors for integration into in-line inspection and production lines for Headspace Analysis and Leak Detection. Our sensors are also available in various instruments ideal for quality control and at-line inspection of packaging, they support many different package formats and are a great tool to have for a more efficient sample testing and more environmental production. Our sensor series GasSpect for Headspace Analysis works with transparent and non-transparent packages like trays, bags, bottles, containers and can measure O2, CO2, H2O, CO2 & pressure, residual oxygen and more. Our sensor series LeakSpect for Leak Detection works with transparent and non-transparent packages like trays, bags, bottles and containers of many types of material and can detects leaks of O2 and CO2. 

The GASPOROX technology is already used more than 10 years very successful for the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments to do 100% and lab testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines and labs. The great performance and robustness of the measurement is well proofed in the industry.

    Product GPX1500 Vial

    The Gasporox GPX1500 Vial represents a new approach to headspace oxygen gas inspection – fast, accurate, non-intrusive and non-destructive, in tubular vials. 
    The GPX1500 Vial is a very compact and easy to use instrument to measure accurate the headspace of pharmaceutical containers. Change over to a different format does not require the operator to change any settings. It is designed for the vial format range 2R to 100R. It’s applicable for containers like tubular vials, ampoules, molded vials, clear glass or amber vials as well as plastic containers. The result is presented immediately on the touch screen. The non-destructive measurement lets you return the samples to the production line with no waste. The technology offers O2 degradation investigations as well as stability trends and end of shelf-lives studies.

    Our methods are non-destructive, deterministic and USP 1207 and ASTM recognized.

    The Gasporox sensor series GasSpect offers non-destructive Headspace Gas Analysis to be integrated into an inspection machine. The sensors with its highly sensitive laser impresses with performance and precision. The GasSpect series comes in different variations depending on which gas to be inspected.

    The GasSpect O2 sensor is laser-based HeadSpace Analysis (HSA) which is applied to numerous inspection functions that relates to container closure integrity testing (CCIT) and also process control. It measures non-destructievly the oxygen gas concentrations in containers and parenteral packaging such as vials, ampoules and can also be applied to other package formats

    Material porosity is a relevant parameter in many production process with dry compounds. Actual porosity measurement technologies are using destructive methods. Several disadvantages are connected with the determination of the porosity. The pharmaceutical production of tablets uses the porosity measurement as a relevant quality attribute. The routine measurement to comply with the GMP process, the scale process as well as the validation of equipment and process are demanding a faster, easier and more reliable measurement technology. This has been now developed by Gasporox. 

    The non-destructive at line instrument developed by Gasporox is fast, accurate and easy to use. No special sample preparation is required. No lab with additional instruments needs to be available and the measurement can be done at line by an normal line operator.

    The Gasporox GPX1500 Film Pharma represents a new approach to headspace oxygen gas inspection – fast, accurate, non-intrusive and non-destructive, in IV-bags and pharmaceutical pouches.

    The GPX1500 Film Pharma is a very compact and easy to use instrument to measure accurate the headspace of pharmaceutical bags and pouches. It’s designed to operate parameter free to have a reliable and accurate use in the pharmaceutical production and lab.

    The IV-bag is easily placed on the instrument by the operator. The instrument is designed to be able to measure residual oxygen on small headspace volumes. Single and continuous measurements can be done. The GPX1500 Film Pharma instrument supports many different pharmaceutical bags without need to change any parameter. 
    The non-destructive measurement lets you return the samples to the production line with no waste. 

  • VialArch

    Product VialArch

    The Gasporox sensor module VialArch offers non-destructive Headspace Gas Analysis to be integrated directly onto the production line or into an inspection machine.

    This unique laser-based solution is installed on the production line for 100% quality inspection and container closure integrity testing. The VialArch has automatic triggering and only the container diameter and belt speed is set by the operator in the user software. The laser beam is passing the headspace of the moving vials to perform laser-based headspace analysis (HSA), non-destructive and with precise measurements of the residual oxygen in the headspace.

    This is applied to numerous inspection functions that relates to container closure integrity testing (CCIT) and also process control. It measures non-destructievly the oxygen gas concentrations in containers and parenteral packaging such as vials, ampoules and can also be applied to other package formats.


    Applications for the VialArch: The VialArch is designed for inspection of pharmaceutical containers such as vials. It is used for container closure integrity testing where oxygen sensitive products are inspected. The VialArch can for example be used for detecting residual oxygen in liquid vials or leak detection of lyophilized vials and in other applications where oxygen levels is a key parameter.
