What are Lipitres eye drops?

Lipitres are eye drops in the form of emulsion that comprehensively rebuilds all three layers of the tear film, in accordance with its physiological structure. They contain polar and non-polar fatty components, thanks to which the fat layer is effectively spread over the surface of the eye and effectively reduces the evaporation of the water layer. Vitamin A protects the goblet cells responsible for the production of mucins.  



What are Lipitres eye drops used for?
 Lipitres drops intensively moisturize and restore the three layers of the tear film. They are used to rebuild the degenerated tear film or to compensate for its losses. They work comprehensively and effectively. They alleviate the symptoms of moderate and severe dry eye syndrome. Due to their unique composition. Lipitres drops soothe all forms of dry eye syndrome, i.e .:
• a form associated with a deficiency of the water layer as a consequence of dysfunction of the lacrimal gland,
• the form associated with excessive tear evaporation, which may be the result of eyelid margin inflammation, dysfunction of the meibomian glands with closure of their orifices, blinking disorders, and the mixed form.



 When should Lipitres eye drops be used?

Lipitres drops are dedicated to patients suffering from dry eye syndrome, which is accompanied by symptoms such as dryness and eye pain, burning, fatigue or tearing. These symptoms can be caused by: • dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms, long-term work at a computer monitor, watching TV or cigarette smoke, • adverse external factors such as sun, wind, salt water, dust and dust. 



 How do the active ingredients of Lipitres eye drops work?
Lipitres drops are an effective formula supporting the treatment of dry eye syndrome, which replenishes all three layers of the tear film, providing immediate and long-lasting relief. Sodium hyaluronate as an intensely moisturizing substance with viscoelastic (viscoelastic) properties replenishes the water layer of the tear film.                                                                                                                                                                           The mixture of medium-chain fatty acids (MCT) and phospholipids prevents excessive evaporation of tears, rebuilding the lipid layer.   Vitamin A supports the regeneration of goblet cells responsible for the production of mucins

 How often can Lipitres drops be used?

If necessary, one drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac. Since Lipitres drops do not contain preservatives, they can be used every day, also by users of all types of contact lenses. Usually, one drop is instilled 2 to 4 times a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye. In case of severe symptoms, it is possible to use drops more often.
