Majority of Pharmaceutical Companies 'Worried about Disaster Recovery'
Health and pharmaceutical companies need to pay more attention to their backup and disaster recovery plans, a survey suggests.
More than half (55 per cent) of health and pharmaceutical companies are concerned about their ability to recover from a disaster, a survey has found.
The Ponemon Institute survey of more than 6,000 IT practitioners, commissioned by disaster recovery specialist Acronis, found that 33 per cent thought they would be unable to recover quickly in the wake of a disaster.
A further 42 per cent admitted they would suffer significant downtime as a result of their lack of preparedness.
