Sales in China's Pharmaceutical Distribution Industry up 23Pc
China's Ministry of Commerce has published the latest figures on pharmaceutical distribution industry sales.
China's pharmaceutical distribution industry recorded 942.6 billion yuan ($149.62 billion) worth of sales in 2011, new figures show.
The data, which were published yesterday (June 21st) by the Ministry of Commerce and reported by the Xinhua news agency, indicate that sector sales increased by 23 per cent between 2010 and 2011.
Drug sales accounted for 76.2 per cent of total sales, with Chinese patient medicine sales accounting for 15.2 per cent; Chinese medical herbal sales 2.9 per cent; and medical equipment sales 2.7 per cent.
