Sartorius and Südpack Ink Polymer Films Deal
The two companies will also collaborate on the development of multi-layer films with improved product characteristics to be employed in single-use bioreactors. The first product innovations from are expected in approximately one year.
Sartorius Stedim Biotech (SSB), a leading international pharma and biotech supplier, and Südpack Medica AG, a manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions, have signed an exclusive 10-year agreement for the development, manufacture and supply of polymer plastic films for the biopharmaceutical market.
Südpack will produce plastic film materials for SSB for the manufacture of single-use bags and systems used by customers in the pharmaceutical industry for cell cultivation, transportation and storage of biopharmaceutical liquids.
