Camphor Racemic

Alpha-Pinene is obtained by rectification from crude Turpentine oil (Pinus pinaster Aiton) and subsequent distillation of crude alpha-Pinene.

Obtained by crystallisation from star anise oil (Illicium verum Hooker) and following vacuum distillation.

Steam distillation of the dry ripe fruit of Pimpinella anisum L. with following depth filtration.

Beta-Pinene is obtained by rectification from crude Turpentine oil (Pinus pinaster Aiton) and subsequent distillation of crude alpha-Pinene.

Steam distillation of the ripe fruit of Foeniculum vulgare Miller ssp. vulgare var. vulgare and following vacuum distillation.

L-Borneol is produced by esterification and hydrolysis of alpha-Pinene, obtained from turpentile oil of Pinus pinaster Aiton.

Essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the dried flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merril et Perry – Eugenia caryophyllus (C. Spreng) Bull. Et Harr. and following depth filtration.

Natural Camphor is obtained from camphor oil (cinnamumum camphora Sieb.)

L-Fenchone is produced by oxidation of d-alpha/beta Fenchol which is obtained by Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement with hydration of (-)alpha-pinene (Pinus pinaster Aiton) and following vacuum distillation.

Menthone is obtained by fractionated distillation from the essential oil of Mentha arvensis.

L-Menthol is obtained from the essential oils of various species of Mentha arvensis by crystallisation.

Steam distillation of the fresh, flowering aerial parts of Mentha arvensis L., and following rectification of the essential oil with partial separation of Menthol. The dementholized mint oil is partially deterpenized by following rectification.
