Product Description

Oligonucleotide manufacturing typically involves protection of the 5′-hydroxyl group with 4,4′-dimethoxytrityl (DMT), which is removed with dichloroacetic acid (DCA) during the detritylation step. CABB’s proprietary catalyst and manufacturing technology inherently minimizes critical impurities, enabling DeTrityl® Ultrapure to meet the stringent purity requirements of oligonucleotide synthesis. Its high purity helps minimize the formation of undesired oligonucleotide species, including n-1, n-2, and depurinated species.
