Saltigo GmbH offers a wide range of products including Dodecyl methyl sulfide (DoMeSu).
Appearance: light yellow liquid, min. 99%. Packaging: IBC. Application: Low-odor substitute for volatile and smelly lower sulfide reagents, i.e. dimethylsulfide, butyl methyl sulfide etc., in Johnson-Corey-Chaykovsky epoxidation, Pauson-Khand cyclization etc., as sulfoxide for replacing dimethyl sulfoxide in Swern- and Corey-Kim type oxidations, etc. Use as additive for specialty oils, as an aid in mercury decontamination and other uses have been described.
