Collagenase, which can break down the native collagen that holds animal tissues together, are made by a variety of microorganisms and by many different animal cells. 
Recombinant Collagenase of Clostridium histolyticum developed by BaoPharma (Shanghai) is a chromatographically purified enzyme used for tissue dissociation in-vitro and thus applicable for isolation of many different types of cells. The isolated cells can be used for numerous clinical applications like islet cell transplantation and for research purposes. Extremely high purity (> 98%)，less risk from allergic reaction.
