Product Description

Connectivity in a software defined architecture is defined in software rather than in wiring. One integration layer sits between mixed-vendor equipment and the systems above it, so every asset reports in the same agreed vocabulary. Adding a machine or changing a supplier no longer means rebuilding point-to-point interfaces. The data specification is written during design and carried into the purchase order, putting the tag list in the supplier's hands before the equipment ships.
