Tetanus Vaccine, Adsorbed

This vaccine is a purified tetanus toxoid adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. The toxoid is produced by culturing Clostridium tetani, followed by toxin refinement and detoxification. Manufactured with a 1,000L fully automated bioreactor, it ensures consistent quality, high toxoid activity, and superior potency — ≥60 IU per dose, which is 50% higher than the pharmacopoeia requirement (40 IU). A full primary series followed by a booster every 10 years provides long-lasting protection. The vaccine can also be co‑administered with rabies vaccine.
