    Product SPINE FIBO

SPINE FIBO is the first and only machine in the world that combines 100% visual inspection and sorting with counting and bottle filling. In short, it is the first machine to visually inspect all surfaces of each product, sort out defective products and then immediately fill bottles with good product only. By bringing together two individual processes, the system provides a solution that considerably reduces costs and risks of overall pharmaceutical production. The machine allows easy adjustment for bottles of different sizes and types, high bottle filling capacities and throughput. Inspection of SPINE FIBO is based on existing technology of SPINE machine and can achieve the same high-end performance in applicability, quality of inspection and throughput. SPINE has proven to be the most versatile visual inspection machine on the market for more than 10 years and it's still the only machine that can inspect tablets, capsules and softgels.

    Product SPINE

All-in-one 360° visual inspection machine with 3D and 2D inspection technology for inspection and sorting of tablets, capsules and softgels. Sensum SPINE automatically inspects the entire surface of tablets, capsules and softgels at the speed of up to 630.000 products/hour. Machine can inspect an extensive range of product sizes and has high-end performance in terms of applicability, inspection quality and throughput. Its ergonomic and intuitive design allows the user fast-change overs and ease of use without any special training or tools. The products are held in reproducible position by a vacuum system and inspected by six colour cameras. The machine is controlled via a user-friendly graphical interface, providing simple operation and training for the inspection of new products. The active sorting system with sorting verification for both good and defective products ensures fail-safe and reliable operation.

    Product HELIX CORE

HELIX Core is a machine for vertical lifting, dedusting and polishing of tablets, capsules and softgels of various shapes and sizes. The products are conveyed in gentle manner to different heights at adjustable speed, controlled via user friendly graphical interface. Compact, mobile and modular design makes HELIX Core ready to use in a wide variety of production and packaging processes (e.g. tablet pressing or coating, capsule flling or weighting, metal checking, blistering, bottle flling) with simple cleaning and low maintenance.

    Product PATVIS APA

Process Analytical Technology Visual Inspection System for Automated Particle Analysis. Sensum PATVIS APA is process analytical technology visualization system for monitoring, understanding and optimization of fluid bed pharmaceutical production processes. It enables real-time monitoring and fully automated analysis of size and shape of particles throughout processing and is easily attached to existing viewing ports for in-line inspection or used as a standalone device for at-line inspection.

    Product SPINE HYPO

Automatic Visual Inspection and Sorting of Highly Potent Tablets & Capsules. Sensum SPINE HYPO machine is designed for contained automatic visual inspection and sorting of highly potent tablets and capsules. • Whitepaper Counters for bottle filling: What are the problems and can we do something about that?

Pharmaceutical bottle filling technology must meet two chief requirements: high accuracy filling and the quality of filled products. The two technologies used in most pharmaceutical packaging facilities, slat fillers and electronic counters pose different challenges. Slat fillers are an older technology based on the mechanical counting using format parts with cavities with disadvantages around cost, flexibility and lack of quality control by design. Meanwhile, electronic counters can have issues with the accuracy of filling and handling of products with defects. In addition, the design with flaps can lead to miscounts even after the product has been accurately counted. This whitepaper from Sensum weighs up the challenges and risks of the two technologies and explores how visual inspection systems can eliminate the problem of miscounts due to technology and due to product quality.
  • Video SPINE FIBO: Automatic Visual Inspection Machine with counting and bottle filling

Sensum SPINE FIBO automatically inspects the entire surface of products with 6 visual systems at high speed. The inspected products with defects are removed before bottle filling. The good products are counted and filled into bottles. Miscounted bottles are automatically rejected from the packaging line.
