About Us

NVC (founded in 1953) is the association of companies addressing the activity of packaging throughout the supply chain of packaged products. The NVC membership, projects, information services and education programme stimulate the continuous improvement of packaging.

Packaging is the activity of temporarily integrating of an external function and a product to enable the use of the product. In healthcare, the product is the medicine and the user is not only the patient but also the healthcare professional.

In the NVC project Pharmaceutical Packaging Innovation, member companies study the trends in packaging for medicines and medical devices.
