Product Description

The HSA 120 equipment belongs to a family of non-destructive analyzers intended for monitoring headspace gas compositions in optically transparent and sealed containers. It employs a non-invasive laser-based technique for monitoring the headspace levels of gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and moisture content. 

HSA 120 is designed to perform the 100 % Headspace Gas Analysis of the production; it offers an output rate of 7200 containers per hour. In a typical configuration, the equipment is loaded by an operator on an infeed tray system; infeed system is comprising a conveyor belt that leads containers to the starwheel. As a result of the transport process, the container is placed in front of the HSA sensor which is set up for the required gas measurement. The equipment can also be configured to perform an online inspection process.

Headspace Analysis “HSA” is based on the Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) method which accurately detects and quantifies gaseous concentration levels. A diode laser beam is transmitted through the container in the region above the product and below the cap/closure (headspace); laser beam is then received by a detector. The amount of light absorbed while crossing the headspace is measured and related to the target gas concentration.

The laser beam wavelength is tuned around the absorption frequency of the target gas to be monitored.

The HSA technology allows to perform a quick and accurate monitoring of headspace gas, by determining the nitrogen purging efficiency and by ensuring container closure integrity; it is applicable to sterile products that are packaged under modified atmospheric conditions or under a certain level of negative pressure.

    Product VS 100

    VS 100 equipment is a Semi‐automatic Inspection system designed to aid a human operator in the visual inspection of vials, ampoules, bottles, cartridges and prefilled syringes for particulate matters and cosmetic defects detection.

    The equipment consists of a rigid frame structure of rectangular stainless-steel tubes. All product contact parts are FDA acceptable non oxidizing materials. All moving parts can easily be cleaned and dismantled for maintenance or line clearance. Ergonomic design and glare free presentation allow highly efficient inspection.     VS LAB equipment is a benchtop system that is configured to perform the visual inspection of pharmaceutical containers containing liquid, dry powder or lyophilized products.

    The equipment is constructed in stainless steel with specification in accordance with the latest requirements for GMP; it is designed for laboratory use of for installation in Class C and D production areas.

    The equipment frame is supported by four (4) adjustable legs with circular feet.
    The container to be subject to visual inspection is loaded from the front top of the equipment by the operator; the container is placed on to a motorized bottom plate and it is held in position by means of an adjustable top tailstock.
    The container holder ensure stable placement during the inspection and provides for a container rotation on its axis prior to the inspection process.
    A touch screen display provides control of the overall process.

    When the process is completed the container is unloaded by the operator and handles according the inspection result.
