Medinfar awarded first ever CPHI Verified Certificate

CPHI Verified certification improves supply chain transparency, providing a legal, regulatory and quality benchmark
CPHI has awarded the first ever CPHI Verified certificate to Medinfar – an international pharmaceutical manufacturer of Rx, cosmetics, food supplements and veterinary products.
The new certification was given after a detailed evaluation by SGS – the world’s leading verification, inspection and certification company – spanning some 14 separate criteria, including the company’s approach to quality and environmental management, supply chain, health and safety and business continuity planning.
CPHI Verified, developed in partnership with SGS, empowers pharmaceutical buyers with an established benchmark of legal, regulatory, quality and brand pre-qualification compliance. The service forms part of the platinum membership on CPHI Online and is designed to further supply chain trust and transparency.
CPHI Online launched the service in response to customer requests for an easily recognisable global benchmark for quality and integrity, especially as companies seek to develop wider networks of global partners.
“We congratulate Medinfar on becoming the first CPHI Verified manufacturer, its well-deserved recognition of the quality of their credentials and we look forward to building a database of trusted suppliers," said Patrick Steenvoorden, Digital Director at CPHI.
“We have partnered on this programme with CPHI, the largest pharmaceutical trade show organiser and online community, to help suppliers communicate their level of compliance and adherence to various criteria. We are so pleased to welcome the very first partner to the CPHI Verified family and commend the Medinfar team on this achievement,” commented Kristofer Whitfield, Head of Delivery at SGS.
