Human Antithrombin III

Human Antithrombin III
Product Description

Human Antithrombin III for research and further manufacturing use

Antithrombin III is a normal component of human plasma and an important blood coagulation inhibitor.

Antithrombin III is a small glycoprotein that inactivates several enzymes due to its anticoagulant properties, with its activity significantly enhanced by heparin.

Human Antithrombin III (ATIII) is used to enhance the thromboresistant properties of biomaterials used in medical devices. ATIII-modified Polycarbonaturethane could significantly improve the safety and performance of cardiovascular devices by reducing the risk of thrombosis.

ATIII is used to minimize thrombogenicity in the production of protein solutions, coating on medical devices, and in various assays and experiments. Its anticoagulant properties help ensure the safety and efficacy of these applications.
