AAPharmaSyn supports small-molecule drug discovery programs with medicinal chemistry services spanning hit-to-lead, lead optimization, SAR development, analog design and synthesis, scaffold modification, and preparation of tool, reference, comparator, and backup compounds. The chemistry team works with client-generated biological and physicochemical data to help prioritize compounds that can answer the next scientific question in a program.

Support can include synthetic feasibility assessment, route development for promising candidates, focused analog libraries, and structural changes intended to improve properties such as potency, solubility, metabolic stability, and overall developability. As programs mature, AAPharmaSyn can also scale lead compounds to provide material for biological and preclinical studies.
