CPHI Worldwide Celebrates 25 Years of Pharma Partnerships Ahead of the Show’s Opening

CPHI Worldwide, part of UBM Live’s Pharmaceutical Portfolio, celebrates its 25th birthday by releasing the first in a series of ‘made at CPHI’ pharma stories. These will follow 25 pharma industry successes that have directly resulted from meetings at CPHI. The first story charts Global Pharmaceutical Relief from a first meeting at CPHI only 2 years ago to today and providing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of medicines to the developing world via NGOs — not just another business story, but a great example of the CPHI family helping to proliferate healthcare throughout the globe.

After the event CPHI will also be releasing an ebooklet containing all 25 CPHI success stories. The event has succeeded in uniting people from all over the globe and created a truly multicultural CPHI family. Over the years, CPHI itself has grown from just 400 people at a European ingredients conference to being the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. CPHI Worldwide now hosts over 35,000 attendees and 2,500 exhibitors from 140 countries.

Ever evolving, 2014 also marks the start of two new additional agendas to the CPHI family; Women’s Breakfast (Wednesday 8th Oct 7:30am), and CPHI’s collaboration with charitable partner, Global Angels (details to be confirmed post show).

The 25th CPHI Worldwide opens to the industry next week, with the pre-connect on 6 October 6 and the main event 7–9 October 2014.
