International convention set to welcome MedImmune

MedImmune is due to appear at an international convention later this month.

The global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca, MedImmune, is set to attend an international convention in the US later this month.
BIO 2013 International Convention will open in Chicago, Illinois, on 22nd April with a group of senior executives of MedImmune on schedule to embrace the event.
Some of the company's leading experts due to be on hand over the duration of the convention will include senior vice president of corporate development and ventures, Atul Saran, who is to deliver a presentation entitled 'Behind the Tech Transfer Headlines: What are You Missing?'.
This will be followed up with a delivery from Menelas Pangalos, executive vice president of innovative medicines and early development, who will cover the topic 'Open Innovation: Transforming the Model of Biopharmaceutical R&D'.
MedImmune will sum up its part in the convention with 'The Return of the Pipeline Deal', which will be delivered by executive vice president Dr Bahija Jallal.
