PASCOE Naturmedizin exhibits at CPHI Worldwide Exhibition in Frankfurt

PASCOE Naturmedizin is one of Germany's 100 most innovative medium-sized enterprises. The success story of our family’s specialist naturopathy company began three generations and almost 125 years ago when Friedrich H. Pascoe's first pharmacy in Mülheim an der Ruhr successfully completed its first year of trading in 1895.

The “Apotheke Friedrich Pascoe – Pharmazeutische Präparate” was founded in 1918 by Pascoe in Giessen, the birthplace of our modern company. Our ever-increasing product portfolio continues to expand and adapt to the needs of people all around the world. The company is now headed by a third generation of the same family: husband and wife team, Annette D. Pascoe and Jürgen F. Pascoe. The company has 200 employees and manufactures approximately 200 naturopathic medicinal products. These include herbal medicines, high-dose vitamin products, homeopathic complex remedies and dietary supplements. Pascoe operates internationally and exports to 30 countries worldwide. The company has subsidiaries in Toronto, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Prague, Czech Republic and in Bratislava, Slovakia. 

Our own research and development

Our research department was established as early as 1961. Numerous clinical trials on efficacy and tolerability have been carried out here to date in close cooperation with clinics as well as registered doctors and alternative practitioners. 

Paperless pioneers

Because Pascoe has a special relationship with nature as the source of its high-quality raw materials, the responsible use of natural resources is important to the company. For example, Pascoe was the first pharmaceutical company in the world to introduce paperless documentation in 2005. 

Award winning

Pascoe has already been awarded the “Top 100” seal of approval four times, the innovation prize for medium-sized companies – most recently in 2018. Also, as the first pharmaceutical company to be FSC®-certified (Forest Stewardship Council®) globally, Pascoe is committed to exclusively using paper sourced from sustainable, responsibly managed forests. As one of Germany's best employers, Pascoe has been awarded the "Great Place To Work" seal of approval eight times in succession. Pascoe was also awarded a special distinction for its Corporate Healthcare Management in 2016. In 2017 and 2019 the company was even voted into first place as “Germany’s Best Employer” by its own employees.
