CPHI Worldwide is back, and this time it’s hybrid

A new in-person and online edition of CPHI Worldwide, transforming your event experience.

CPHI Worldwide returns to unite the pharma industry once again in Milan after a two-year hiatus.

This year, the event is going hybrid and offers both an in-person component from 9-11 November in the Italian Life Sciences capital, Milan, as well as an online platform for content, matchmaking and meeting planning which opened on 11th October.

What does a ‘hybrid’ CPHI Worldwide offer me?

So what are the key benefits to a hybrid event, and how can you get the most out of your experience?

More time to explore

One of the main challenges many attendees found with previous editions of CPHI Worldwide is that there was simply not enough time to see everything on offer at the exhibition, and to make your way round the 2,500+ exhibitors present.

A key benefit to the hybrid event concept is the luxury of having more time to explore. With the event portal opening four weeks ahead of the in-person event, attendees have the opportunity to make connections in advance, review the exhibitor list and schedule the meetings which matter most.

The flexibility to build your own schedule

The hybrid event offering is also a flexible one. Did you always wish you had more time on-site to take advantage of the many conferences and seminars on offer at the show? With the hybrid experience, there are 55+ content sessions streaming in the two weeks prior to the event, allowing you to either join live sessions, or watch on-demand content at a time which suits you.

This means once you arrive on-site, all your time at the show can be dedicated to meeting new and existing partners, and getting back to business.

The opportunity to extend your reach

At a time where not everyone is able to travel to a physical event, the hybrid CPHI Worldwide experience provides the opportunity for those facing restrictions to still be able to meet with their pharma peers in an online environment and take advantage of many of the show’s offerings – including video meetings, matchmaking and content.

This also means that the event experience is opened up to those who perhaps have never been able to attend a physical CPHI Worldwide event in the past, creating the opportunity to do business with new pharma contacts from across the globe.

A ‘smart’ event experience

The on-site experience in Milan will also look a little different this year as we focus not only on adhering to COVID-19 guidelines through the Informa AllSecure programme, but also as we prioritise our sustainability objectives.

This means that we will significantly reduce the amount of paper on-site – there will be no printed catalogues, event guides, magazines or badges this year. Instead, all you need to do is to download the CPHI Worldwide app, which will hold your digital badge, allow you to watch content sessions on the go and help you to navigate the exhibition through our digital floor plan and exhibitor list. Simple!

Ready to go?

The online event platform is open now – why not log on to check out some of our content sessions, browse the exhibitor list and start arranging some on-site or online meetings?

If you’ll be joining us in Milan next week, make sure you review travel information on the CPHI Worldwide website to better understand the requirements for entering Italy and the exhibition venue.
