CARICOM is a set of small markets that most manufacturers treat as not worth serving one country at a time. Aggregated, the demand is real, and the Eastern Caribbean is reached from Barbados.

PAHO operates its regional public health hub for the Eastern Caribbean from Barbados.

BPI is working on the supply and distribution route for essential medicines into the region.
Cold chain in Barbados is an extension of existing capacity rather than a build from zero. 2 to 8°C warehousing is already operating in the market.

We are looking for manufacturers with essential medicines and generics to place, and for distribution partners who know how to serve small island markets economically.
